Quality Assurance Specialist (Software Tester) (f/m/d)

FULL-TIME – IN MUNICH

Who are we searching for?

We search for a QA specialist who will be involved in all stages of the development of many different Medical Apps. You’ll make sure that our apps and software are working without any problems. And you will learn a lot on the way.

You will be in close communication with the engineering team, product managers and designers during your daily work. Your goal will be to make sure that all of our products adhere to the highest standards and are released without any bugs or safety concerns. That includes the creation, execution and documentation of test plans and test cases.

In addition to testing Apps, you will be responsible for continuously optimizing our QA- and Testing processes. You will have a big impact on the company and on how things are done to deliver safe and robust Apps.

We’re a team of ~25 people based in Munich developing mobile apps & web apps for customers in the area of medicine and healthcare. We are fundamentally driven by two things:

1. building health software that truly helps people
2. developing those products the right way – based on great software engineering practices while pushing the state of the art forward (check our Blog and GitHub)

Your Responsibilities

  • Manual testing of apps and services
  • Creating test plans and test documentation (including bug tickets)
  • Communicating with developers, project managers and designers on testing matters
  • Creating and reviewing Software Requirements (using Jira)
  • Creating new and optimizing existing processes (using Confluence)
  • Ensure that our apps don’t have any bugs or safety concerns

Your Profile

  • You have extensive experience in manual software testing
  • You’re used to working in a structured, thorough and self-organized manner
  • You’re fluent in English (being fluent in German is a plus)
  • Prior experience in the medical field is a plus (but not mandatory)
  • You are passionate about bug hunting and exploring all parts of a product
  • You understand how mobile apps work and what scenarios could make them struggle
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
